What Is Off Page SEO?

By Noman Ali

If you want to make off-page SEO work, the first thing you really need to do is to stop listening to the so-called gurus in SEO and start using your common sense and recognizing one basic fact: Google is a search engine that has its DNA set on ranking websites based on links. If that weren't the case, it would have to rewrite its own DNA entirely.

The important thing to remember when it comes to building links to your website, it's not about quantity, it's also about quality. Definitely not all links are created alike, and there are back links that will make your website rank better.

We're talking about links from High PR websites (at least PR3) that have content that is related to yours and has a good number of quality links pointing to it as well.

Other good sources of backlinks are links coming from newspapers, universities, and directories like DMOZ and Yahoo. Building quality backlinks to your website is a tough job and it's rather impossible for a high PR site like About.com to link to you if you're not one of their authors.

This is the reason why many seasoned Internet marketers have taken things into their own hands by building a High PR network themselves. They buy High PR websites and host them with a hosting account that offers different IP addresses (very important).

High PR blog networks are different in that you will need to buy a High PR websites, host them on different IP addresses, give them some tender loving care by updating their content and building back links to them and them link from them to your money site.
