How Facebook Apps Can Improve Your Marketing Efforts

Chances are you like the way your Facebook profile looks on your laptop at home. But you may not be crazy about the way it looks on your iPhone or Android device. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the reason: The smaller screen is not large enough to display your entire Facebook page. No wonder so many developers started working on apps which are designed to allow users to browse Facebook on hand held devices.



Without being too technical, these earlier developers simply went in and broke down the Facebook site into small sections. Each section then displays nicely on the smaller screen. Next they made it simple to do a quick swipe in order to take you from one section to the next.

Unfortunately, almost everyone is doing that. Everyone is setting up fanpages. There are so many business owners buying clicks from Facebook. Why is that so? The reason is because of the low barrier of entry. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can set up a fanpage and buy advertising from Facebook within minutes.

Facebook apps, particularly those designed for iPhones, are made using iPhone technology. As more developers get involved, more highly customized Facebook apps are becoming available. In fact, one of the reasons iPhones have realized their vast success is due to the instant availability of so many apps designed by third parties.

Before apps came along, Facebook, the hottest social site online, was simply not very compatible with iPhones and Android devices. Today it is. In fact there are probably more Facebook visitors using hand held devices than there are using standard computers. As a result, it is now essential that businesses both large and small develop Facebook apps to promote their products and services and to ensure customer loyalty.

The point is that you put your business out there, you can also reward your loyal customers with �VIP� content or discounts as an incentive. And in order to grow your audience, perhaps you can even encourage your own friends to like your page through the Facebook Apps. So if you interact with your fans and upload fresh new content everyday, it will keep your customers interested and coming back for more. There are many Facebook Apps to choose from to market your business brand, services and products. These can bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to your fan site on a daily basis, with fan numbers like these, who wouldn't want to use Facebook Apps on their fan page.
