White Board Marketing Videos Holds The Attention Of Viewers

By Carl Lee

Lately, there has been a trend to show a video to prospective customers, where an artist draws on a white board while a sales presentation is being made. This is a unique way of presenting a topic, because there is a natural curiosity of wanting to see how the drawing is going to turn out. As the narrator gives the presentation, the artist expertly draws a cartoon that relates to the subject, cleverly holding the attention of the viewer.

From a financial perspective, producing a video is obviously much cheaper and easier to achieve today, than how it was in the past. All you need is a smartphone and a YouTube account to shoot and video these days for practically next to nothing. But the content of your video is what really matters in the end, so the trick is to find creative and innovative ways to present your business and get your message across to online viewers.

The drawing is made free hand by the artist, and then sped up to be fresh and in order to keep the attention of the viewer. This is important because in any presentation of any length there is a tendency for the viewer to have their attention wander, and if your presentation has any detail to it, you will want the viewer to get all the facts.

Other methods of using a white board is to simply have the presenter stand in front of a white board and write down his points as they are covered in the presentation. This simply rivets the viewer to the steps that the presenter wants him to see. This is effective in having the viewer understand the important parts of the presentation.

This technique just reinforces the age-old principle that if you are going to tell a story, it is going to be remembered much more effectively if there illustrations to back up the story itself and to make orderly emphasis on the main points.

As you can see, creating your own white board marketing video is a very simple process. You can create an excellent video without spending anything if you already own a camera. The editing process is very simple and you should be able to edit your video with free editing software. Start working on some script and drawing ideas for your video and keep in mind that you should focus on the visual impact of what you demonstrate on the white board to efficiently share your message with your target audience.
