Walmart Launches Savings Catcher App

By Dawood Sajid

Considered to be one of the most commonsense applications ever created, one that has people scratching their heads as to why it was never created before, an application that offers the best price guarantee through their Savings Catcher program. This is actually an application that can be used on both android and Apple phones which was released in 2014.

The Savings Catcher app is very easy to use. Once a Walmart purchase is completed, the customer can scan a code on their receipt or enter a code in the Savings Catcher app. The app will then retrieve information about the purchase and compare prices with other stores.

An app for a store is a really good thing because it gets people always aware of what is on sale and where they can get a deal. If the app has notifications, even better. It can really be on top of letting people know what to shop for.

Within the app, people have the option to pick their store. This is helpful so that they know what is going on locally. They can look and see what is in stock where they normally shop. This is similar to what they can find on the website.

They also will have a section for pharmacy which is really handy. A lot of people go there to fill prescriptions and having that on the app will make it a lot easier for them. People are looking for easy when it comes to things like that. Within the app will be photos of products which will help draw people to the stores. Sometimes if someone can see an item, they will be more likely to buy it. The app will be a wonderful thing for Walmart and its customers.

Although this application seems to be very simple, no one has ever done this before. Hopefully this will help Wal-Mart provide consumers with better options, higher discounts, as they begin to track exactly what it is that you purchase, and when you purchase it, so that you can get even more savings by shopping with this company.
