Before putting into effect an employee testing program, there a few things that are worth noting. It is wise to have a professional with some background at test development and evaluation especially in an employment setting to aid a manager.

Before beginning, one has to identify the kind of jobs that may benefit from testing. It is important to first establish the cause of the problem before making a conclusion on whether testing will come in handy. The degree of the problem will also matter given that if it only affects a few people, it will not be cost effective to have it performed.
