By Jenny Sayer

Given its popularity among consumers in diverse locations across the world, Samsung has a huge market share that it has managed to establish over the years with the young generation being their target consumers. Over time, Samsung phones have grown popular due to their consistency in delivering quality products and improving them so as to give their consumers better experiences with each model.

When comparing to other brands, Samsung is evidently the top gadget in the market due to their outstanding features. For instance, Samsung galaxy S5 which is the latest model has in many ways proven to be better than most mobile phones in the market such as the iPhone 5s which is arguably one of the most popular brand that seem to have its distinctive features that are preferred by a certain market share.

Firstly, galaxy S5 is equipped with the latest version of android as its operating system while its competitor the iPhone 5s is equipped with IOS. With its popularity among consumers, android is arguably the most preferred operating system as it avails numerous applications on it online platforms. Also, this being the latest version, one gets to access all apps which are compatible and supported by this android version.

At this day and age, the younger generation seems to prefer phones that are as big as tablet so it can be easy to browse the internet and chatting with their friends. The S5 model is 5.1 inches big with the screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels while on the other hand, the iPhone is in a smaller size of 4 inches with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels.

In this case the rear and front cameras are very critical as people want to keep their friends updated on the events happening in their lives by sharing photos of their different occasions. Samsung have outdone themselves this time round as they have a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel front camera which is the most advance feature that most gadgets have in the market.

Having an advanced and strong processor also comes in handy in which case Samsung have not disappointed their consumer as they have installed a quad core as compare to iPhone 5s who have a dual core. Even though they both are strong processors, the quad core is more advanced and eliminated the challenge of getting stuck while operating the mobile phone.

In additional size of the internal memory is important as consumers need to be able to install various apps without fearing that the memory will be filled, and also store some of their favorite songs, videos, photos and basically personal stuff that they want to carry them around. It is critical to also have an extendable memory system whereby one can use microSD to boost the memory size.

To sum up, having a longer battery life is among the critical features that consumers consider when shopping for these gadgets. For this, the galaxy S5 has a standby time of 390 hours and a talk time of 21 hour which allows one to go about their business without going out of battery charge and only charging when retiring for the day.
