The SMS Marketing Trends In 2014

It is estimated that 60% of searches on the Internet are now being done with mobile devices. People are on the go, and they are looking while they are moving around, shopping, meeting, and hanging out.



There is an entire population whose only way of communication is one mobile device. They do not own a landline, they don't have a television, a desktop or a laptop. Everything gets done with their smartphone.

You can keep your SMS marketing campaign current by taking these new trends into consideration. You could for instance create a mobile website and share some links to your pages. Create quality content for your mobile website. You could for instance share some information about your products or services, share a coupon code or use your mobile site to draw attention to other marketing campaigns.

Google already lists businesses on their Google Places platform by category of business, the only thing is they are not in any particular order. All you have to do is find your listing, open it up, and finish filling in everything in your profile. And everything is the way to go, including pictures, coupons, anything else you normally do to bring in the customers.

No one has thought of reaching these people directly by texting them, but you just have and you will probably be the only local merchant who does. If you haven't done anything about this yet, you need to right away. If you do, you will most likely be ahead of your peers.

The money or fees that you will spend getting this set up will be pocket change compared to what you are about to gain from getting this done properly. So get busy, you've got work to do!
